Vision for 2025

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I hope you all had the Christmas that you wanted and hoped for. I pray blessings over 2025 for you all.

Last year my word was restoration and the verse God had given me for this was Joel 2:25. It certainly was a year of restoration. God never fails, always keeps his promises and if he spoke it, it will come to pass.

This year my word is “Reawakening”. I don’t currently have a verse to go with this but I will continue seeking the LORD on this one. When I say reawakening I mean it in the terms of reawakening everything that has been laying on the inside of me, dormant in a way, unable to break through trauma. This is the year where everything God has placed on the inside is no longer stuck unable to break free. Through last years restoration those things are now being released as the blockage is no longer there.

Currently I am working on content for blogs and devotionals for the website but what I envisage for this ministry is so much more than that. So I wanted to share with you all the things that I have in mind for what this ministry will become and all the ways I am hoping it will grow. In God’s time and at his pace.

I am currently designing more downloadable items which include worksheets that people will be able to use in their studies of the Word. These will include Character studies, Verse Studies, Scripture mapping. I received scripture mapping journal for Christmas and it has been so so helpful in guiding me into deeper understanding of the Word. I would like to create something people can download and print off as many times as they wish that can be used to then aid them in their personal studies. I also hope to include bible studies people can download as well, but this is further in the future.

This year I would also love to begin a Ladies Fellowship (a Mens Fellowship would be great and that is something I would pass over to my husband to lead (he is currently chatting through this with friends, if you are interested pop us an email and we’ll add you to the contact list for when we move forward with these). I would love to have a bible study with a group of women who also fellowship together and support each other, interceding for each other and building each other up in the Word. I am currently working on times, dates and whether this would be online or in-person or a mix.

In the more distant future I would love to see this ministry meet the needs of people within the community. Where people can donate financially and this would then be used to meet the needs of families and provide items within the home that would not otherwise be obtained.

I would also love to see those donations provide therapy for people. There are long, long waiting lists for Mental Health help through the NHS and so to be able to provide support for people who can access therapy as soon as they need it would be a dream.

I would love to be a place where people can come for wisdom, advice and be a pointer to other agencies that can support people to meet their needs.

I would love to see mentorship programmes for new Christians and to be able to sponsor people to attend bible college.

There is so so much going on inside my brain for what I would love to see and what I feel God has put on my heart. And I am so so appreciative of every single one of you that has signed up to receive emails, connects with the ministry through Instagram and even just takes the time to read my devotionals.

A wee reminder that there is a place on the website where you can post your prayer requests – you can let us know if you would prefer to keep it private or if it is okay for us to share on the site for other visitors to pray also.

There is also a place for your testimonies. If you have a testimony that you would like to share on the website please send it through to us and we will share it on the website and through Instagram and email as well.

Our online shop launched this week and we are excited to finally have it up and running. There were a few hiccups that delayed the process but I am learning new skills and also have a new-found respect for my husband who troubleshoots IT issues all the time. If you would like to obtain a code for free postage on your first order of greetings cards all you need to do is sign up to our email list. You’re welcome.

If you would like 48 affirmations easily accessible on your mobile or laptop to remind you of your identity in Jesus these are currently available at 20% off. I have used these to help change negative core beliefs about myself into who God says I am. Science says it takes 21 days to change a thought and 63 days to embed it. Which is really sciences way of saying renew your mind to the Word of God. Follow the link here and use code TWENTY at checkout.

I will end with a short word. As I was doing my daily studies a question dropped into my mind. “Who parted the Red Sea?” Of course you all know the answer. It was God. Many people may have heard the story and say it was Moses who parted the sea. They would be wrong. Moses stretched out his hands and the sea parted. This is the way my thoughts went from there. Moses co-laboured with God. He stood in faith, obedient to what God had asked of him and God did what He had promised.

In life we are called to co-labour with God, be obedient to what God asks of us. Then we can watch as God does what only he can do – part the Red Sea that is in front of us and lead us out into our promised land.

I don’t know what your Red Sea looks like right now. The place where you can’t see a way through or out. It’s like every exit has been blocked and you just don’t have any energy left to swim through and if you try it feels like walking through mud or on sinking sand. Ask God, seek Him, listen to what he has promised you. He has promised to always be with you, you can trust him completely. Whatever it is he is asking of you, co-labour with him, resting on his strength in obedience and watch him part your Red Sea right in front of you. Maybe there are naysayers around you saying it can’t be done. Let them watch in awe as God proves himself faithful.

Many Blessings
