I don’t need you to speak 

The last few months have hurt so much

And I just need to be.

I don’t want to share, explain or chat

I don’t need advice

I’m not in a rush to feeling free

I just want one moment

where I can be just me

No hiding who I really am

No pretending to be liked

Or doing things for someone else

No reason why, no judgement

I just want to sit a while

stare at the sunset

find a reason to smile, and just be
